Sixty minutes each, taken within four months, with the teacher you choose. This is how most people work with us — five is roughly where a technical change starts to hold.
One to one
The whole floor, and one person watching you
A private session at Velour is sixty minutes in the same room with the same parquet, with nobody else in it. People book them before auditions, before weddings, after injuries, and because a group of eight is still seven people more than they want.
Three ways to have the room
Duo private
€140 an hour
Two of you and one teacher. Couples before a wedding, friends learning a piece, or two dancers preparing the same audition material.
Corporate evening
€1,200
Three hours, the closed floor, up to eight people and one teacher. Taught as a real class rather than an activity.
Single sessions are €150 and we will happily sell you one, but we will also tell you honestly that one session mostly buys you a diagnosis.
How a session runs

You tell us what it is for
An audition piece, a first dance, a shoulder that has stopped trusting you, or simply the wish to be in the room alone. The purpose decides the teacher.
- 02
We take twenty minutes to look
The first session is mostly watching. You will dance more in the second one than in the first, and that is deliberate.
- 03
We write it down
You leave with two or three things to work on and we keep the same notes, so session four begins where session three stopped.
- 04
You use the floor between times
Members practise here on Sunday mornings at no charge. Private clients who are not members may book the empty room for €25 an hour.
Still no waiting list
Private hours are finite too. If the teacher you want has nothing free this month we will say so and offer you the next month, or another teacher, or nothing at all. We will not put your name on a list and leave you wondering.
